Ripeness estimation and classifying the crops based on ripeness estimation is an important process that affects the quality evaluation of crops and it’s marketing. The time-consuming manual assessment is encouraging the agriculture industry to apply automation using AI techniques. The manual segregation of tons of tomatoes becomes a challenging factor for farmers which requires more manpower. By considering a problem of segregation and manpower, we propose a solution of implementing an end-to-end mechanism for the classification of tomatoes based on their ripeness using AI and ML techniques, which is very efficient and effective.
